The Man in the Corner (TMITC) has been out and about, taking in the 'wider-world-view', for almost two years since setting up this blog; he has now returned to the corner a tad confounded but certainly not defeated.
The forces of greed, corruption, callousness and general sleaze run rampant over the lives of the 99% and he sees no end in sight to the machinations of Goldmen Sucks, JP Morguen, Big Banksters, Barney Obama, 'Honest' John Key, David 'Toff' Camoron, the ECB, the Fed, Big Oil, Big Tobacco/Alcohol, Big Pharmaceuticals, Monsanto, the IMF, the UN, the MudStreamMedia (to name just a few).......and the insidious, moronical, gormless advertising/marketing bullshit artists who drive it all along. Shame on you all!
What to do??.....when the large majority of the 99% are willingly sheepled and herded by the sheep-dogs, their only care seemingly to not miss the latest episode of some inane television series or the 'celebrity' news or to gobble-up the 'news' from their trusted 'anchorman' on MSM.
TMITC is but weeks away from his 53rd birthday and wants nothing more than to be put out to pasture, off the grid, away from the sheep-dogs and the sheeple. To begin the return to the land, the final destination of us all, to be earthed once more, to grow and produce from the earth, to revel in the wonderful freedom of mind with like-minded beings. To gather kai moana, wild mushrooms and blackberries, pick fruit from trees in the backyard, trade with neighbours, brew beer, grow herbs and vegetables. Walk on mountain and river trails, surf at sunset, meditate at sunrise to the sound of the birds and the wind and the rain. To know peace, contentment, love, happiness and companionship.
To be fully human and alive for the years left.
The mountain is calling........come back to Atiawa-land.
